Winter Showjumping League - closing date 4th November

Competition dress please, in the event of adverse weather, waterproof jackets may be worn. SDRC committee representative/organiser at events has the right to refuse entry if there is a concern for animal welfare and/or rider safety. Those taking part in the Nursery Novice classes (1 & 2) will be given assistance if required to complete the round. These are aimed at nervous/inexperienced riders and young or inexperienced horses. It is hoped that once competitors feel confident jumping the 50cm class that they may want to have a go at the 60cm, either on the same day or at a future event. However, no one will be expected to move on from the Nursery Novice if they do not want to. Competitors should note that all classes are run as single phase. Whether you have faults in the first round or not, you can immediately commence the jump off course which will be approximately 1 hole higher than the first round. For each class if entry numbers allow there will be junior and senior sections, rosettes to 6th place in both sections. Competitors may only jump in TWO League classes and will accumulate points in both leagues. For those taking part in the Cross-poles class, they may go on to jump another two classes (Classes 2/3) if they wish, however anyone jumping in Classes 2 onwards may only compete in 2 classes. Entries will be taken in advance via Equus, £13 per class, if one class is entered via Equus, you may enter another class on the day. Anyone entering on the day will pay a late entry fee of £2 extra if they haven’t already pre entered one class online.
