Winter's Equestrian Hunter Trials -October 2026
A friendly event, aimed to encourage riders and horses of all ages gain experience in a competition environment. Jumping efforts will be no bigger than the max height in each class. Event is designed to be encouraging and fun. Prizes for each class 1st to 3rd and rosettes to 6th place. The 30-40 cm will include a Lead Rein section, an individual class and a pairs class. The 50 - 60 cm will include a pairs and an individual class. The 70 - 80 cm will include a pairs and an individual class. The 90 cm will only be an individual class. Approximate number of jumping efforts will be a max of 18 on course - except the 30 - 40cm lead rein class will run over a shorter course. Refreshments & toilets available on site Paramedics will be in attendance.

About this event

First aid: A £4.00 charge for First aid per rider per day will apply. Riding hats with chin strap fastening must be worn at all times when mounted. Hats must comply with BE hat rules. Body protectors (2018 standard) must be worn for the classes. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.
Refund policy: Any withdrawals before the close of the entries will be refunded, minus £5 admin fee. If entry withdrawn after the closing date, no refund will be made unless we can fill the space from the waitlist but will still be subject to a £5 admin fee. Entries will close 2 weeks before the event or sooner, if we have reached capacity.
