Arena Eventing Winter series Inc British Eventing ACE Qualifiers

Our popular arena eventing series is back for the winter and will run indoors in our 72x40m arena and a large 20x60m covered outdoor arena warm up. COURSES are split in two, the show jump phase is not timed but penalties are carried forward. The cross country is timed and is determined by the optimum time. Classes may be split for rosettes should numbers permit into Junior and Senior Sections. PRIZE MONEY is awarded to the overall first to third based on one prize for every full 5 starters. five starters = 1st prize, 10 starters = 2nd and 15 starters = 3rd prize. The Junior section is for riders who have not reached the age of 17 by the end of the calendar year The Senior Section is for riders who have reached the age of 17 and above by the end of the calendar year. Overall League points awarded to gain points for prizes in each class! Points will be awarded at each competition throughout the series. At the end of the competition the combination with the most overall points will be the series winner Points are awarded as below 1st - 12 2nd - 11 3rd - 10 4th - 9 5th - 8 6th - 7 7th - 6 8th - 5 9th - 4 10th - 3 Anyone not in the top 10 will be awarded 1 point League Points class Pre Entry Only £21 + £5 1st Aid per rider The competition will consist of approx 8 show jumps followed immediately by approx 8 arena type XC fences. The XC section is set against an optimum time based on 350mpm and the winner is the rider with the least penalties nearest to the optimum time. Stop watches are not allowed to be worn. XC attire to be worn including skull caps and body protectors, these must be to current safety standards. Hats with FIXED peaks are NOT permitted. Please wear a number bib, riders to provide their own with numbers Run under BE rules, 3 refusals allowed Our Classes also include Qualification for the New British Eventing Series for riders 10yrs and upwards, final to be held at Aintree. Competitors who qualify for the BE ACE Championships 2025 at Aintree Equestrian Centre will receive a British Eventing ACE Championships 2024/5 qualification card from the BE Office on receipt of the results at BE from the Qualifying venues. Upon receipt of the qualification card competitors will have 14 days to become a member (minimum PAYG) of BE to retain their qualification. Failure to do this will result in the qualification being passed down the line to the next placed combination that have not already qualified. Qualifying period is between 1st October 2024 and 12th May 2025.Competition results (rider name, horse name, position, penalties, competition class and date) will be shared with British Eventing to support Championship entry validation. Competitors contact details may be shared with British Eventing so they can contact yourselves in relation to your ACE qualifications. When entering both the qualifier and championships the same horse’s name must be used (no stable names).
