COMMON QUESTIONS

Refundable stable deposit FAQs

What is a refundable stable deposit?

It is a cleaning or muck-out deposit collected with a stable booking. The organiser can return it after the booking or keep some or all of it when needed.

Can customers see the deposit before paying?

Yes. The refundable portion is shown separately during booking and on the customer’s receipt and account record.

How are refunds handled?

Card deposits can be returned through Stripe. Organisers can also record cash refunds, make partial refunds and send a message to the customer.

Does every stable booking need a deposit?

No. The feature is optional and the organiser chooses the refundable amount per stable only where it is needed.
